An offering of devotion and adoration by Young Adults of the Sathya Sai International Organisation Mauritius
Singing their hearts, dancing their souls and thus rejoicing the Power, Potency and the mighty Presence of Beloved Bhagawan, young adults of the Sathya Sai International Organisation Mauritius, presented a unique offering in commemoration of the ascent of the Avatar of the Age – Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, marking the auspicious Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam at the Sathya Sai Centre of Curepipe, Wooton on Sunday, 28th April 2019. The celebration enriched with speeches, skit, cultural and musical renderings led by young adults, was well attended by over 500 devotees including children, young adults and elders.
Proceedings of the morning began at 09.00 hours with the lighting of lamp, Vedic invocations and a few soul stirring bhajans. Speaking on the occasion, Brother Rajendranath Sham, President of the Sathya Sai International Organisation Mauritius shared beautiful anecdotes and stories, reminding the audience of the importance of developing self-confidence and exhorting devotees to have sheer faith with absolute surrender. Continuing further in the same vein, Brother Ajay Bussawon, Deputy Zone 9A Young Adults Coordinator, spoke on the need to practice His teachings explicitly, immediately and completely.
Young adults then lit up the exhuberant morning with a vibrant musical dance offering, dancing to the tune of the popular song, ‘Deva Sri Ganesha Deva Sri Ganesha…’ paying obeisance to the Master Supreme. A beautiful video shot depicting the nostalgic beauty and life of Beloved Bhagawan followed next. The audience sat in silent absorption, immersing in the fascinating tale of His-Story, watching the beauty of His majestic grandeur. Thereafter, Sister Sandhya Sookur narrated a couple of her enlightening experiences and encounters of His all-caring Omnipresence and the art of finding Bhagawan in the heart by dedicating every single act unto Him.
Young adults also offered a thematic skit entitled ‘Cheppinattu Chesthara?”, “Do deeds follow words?” with a flavor of wit and humour written and enacted by the Lord Himself. The skit portrayed scenes where the parents do not practice what they preach and the child is totally confused.
The enlivening programme culminated with special songs of Divine Romance in the melodious tunes of “Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye, Rama Rahim Ko Bhajane Wale and Wonderful so Wonderful….”
A morning soaked in deep expressions of love, gratitude and admiration to Swami. Love-lit faces of the beautiful youths were evident of their deep connect with Beloved Mother Sai, reminding themselves of the great good ‘heavenly’ fortune befell on them, by being His very own. The blissful session concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
These were verily sublime moments of exaltation and symbiosis…Thank you Lord.
