Day 3 

The third and last Day of the 10th Pre-World Conference started with opening prayers and blissful bhajans. 


Brother Bussawon started his address by describing the love that our dearest Swami has for his students and youths. He emphasised on the mission and vision of Sai Youths to be exemplary ideal youths. Brother Bussawon described how the Shri Sathya Sai Organisation can be of help to achieve goals of Sai Youths. He also pointed out that Youths should recognise the importance of elders in the organisation and they will find examples of selfless love, profound wisdom and extensive spiritual knowledge among elders. Brother Bussawon said compared the love for God being more energising than the so-called energy drinks and supplements. He also highlighted that the Sathya Sai Organisation Youth Programme has carried out a number of initiatives which focus on Love in Action. In 2013, the Youths around the globe including Mauritius offered Swami a Treasure box full of birthday messages to our beloved Lord. Similarly in 2014, the Youths offered messages of gratitude in the form of ‘Likhitajapam’ scripts for His birthday. Brother Bussawon further elaborated on various service activities carried out by the Youth such as the Serve the Planet project, which started in the year 2013 to commemorate the Avatar Declaration Day. The National Youth is planning to have a National Human Values walk this year with the aim to spread the universal message of Swami and to remind each one of us the Unity of all Faiths. Furthermore he announced that it is proposed to declare the 23rd November as the National Human Values Day.  The Shri Sathya Sai International Youth Festival will be held in July 2016 in Prashanti Nilayam to promote to further promote unity among Brother and Sisters across the world.  He concluded by highlighting the importance of fostering Love in each of every heart so that all our actions are dedicated to the Lord.


Dr. Narendranath Reddy, Chairman of the Prasanthi Council started his address by stating this Conference Venue was at  present the Prashanti Nilayam with full of love and divine vibrations. He informed that this was the 16th and last Pre World Conference held prior to the World Conference scheduled in November 2015 on the occasion of Bhagwan’s 90th Birthday. This Pre World Conference is the grand finale of a series of pre-world conferences which assembled the largest number of devotees which is unique in its kind with attention to details and loving hospitality. He further elaborated on the various Shri Sathya Sai International Organisation initiatives held across the world during the years 2014 & 2015.  He informed that more than 200 Sai centres operated in more than 120 countries across the world carrying out various spiritual and service activities all year round.


The final resolutions taken following the 3-day conference were presented by Brother Rajendranath Sham.  He informed that the resolutions are a synthesis of all the findings, deliberations and discussions held on the two themes; love and service.The resolutions have been spelt out at three levels which are the Individual, Family and Organisation level.The Pre-world conference has been an enriching, unique and intense experience and such an event has been possible with the Grace of Bhagwan.  He, therefore, requested all delegates from various centres to make a pledge to put into practice all the resolutions made, as these will pave the way to love and selfless service.  Otherwise, all the efforts made in organisating the PWC would be in vain.


An outline of the different activities of the various wings of the SSS International Organisation in Mauritius was highlighted by Brother Vishnu Ramdin, Chairman of the National Council. He further set forward the strategic re-orientation to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and output in the organisation.  He informed that more emphasis and focus will be on direction and responsibility. The Chairperson made an appeal to all Sai centres to post all activities/programmes/projects undertaken by the respective centres on the website of the organisation which will be a source of inspiration to one and all.


“Everyone has a mission but only those who I have called upon can serve me”, says Baba. Brother Allan Reddy delivered his vote of thanks by saying that we have been chosen by Baba to serve HIM.  He expressed his living thanks to Dr. N. Reddy for the motivational, inspiring and divine light brought to the conference through his different speeches. He also thanked all the international speakers, the Organising Committee as well as all the delegates who have participated in the conference. Last but not least, he expressed his gratitude to Swami who has graced this conference.


Following information received on 12th September 2015 (Day 2 of the conference), that there was an urgent need for blood at the blood bank, the Organising Committee responded immediately.  Announcement was made on the very day to request delegates to donate their ‘liquid love’. Within 24 hours, all preparation was made and collection of blood started the next day from 08.30 a.m and lasted till 13.00 p.m. The delegates showed enthusiasm to give their liquid love as the very motto of the organisation is to love all and serve all. As at noon on 13th September 2015, as the conference was coming at its end, around 100 pints of blood were collected.

The last day program ended with devotional singing and closing prayers.
