NATIONAL PUBLICATION SUB-WING

Publication is an important activity in the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation.  It is a valuable tool to disseminate information, impart knowledge and spread the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. According to Article 19 of the Rules & Regulations of the SSSS Organisation, any form of publication (book, booklet, magazine, brochure, leaflet, calendars, audio/video cassette, DVD, VCD, Audio CD, CD-ROM, multimedia CD) under the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation, Mauritius needs to be overseen and vetted by the National Publication Coordinator (NPC) who has to give written approval, prior to the publication. The objective is ensure that the work(s) is (are) being undertaken/realised in line with prescribed guidelines and the teachings of Swami and the content(s) is/are accurate and reflect(s) the mission and vision of the organisation both in substance and in the manner.

Thus, Centres/DGs, Regional Coordinating Committees, Wings/Sub-wings/Units – Service, Education, Spiritual, Study Circle, Bhajan, Ladies, Youth/Medicare/SEF/Nursery – should channel their publication projects/works through the National Publication Coordinator (NPC). All works are as far as possible and feasible submitted to an editorial panel constituted by the Central Council for consideration

The duties of the NPC are:

1. To ensure that there is no duplication of work
2. To supervise and vet what is being published under the name of the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation which is a registered body
3. To publish whatever any Center/DG, Wing or devotee has prepared and wants to get published under the name of the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation
4. To publish anything and everything that needs to be published
5. To give written approval prior to the publication of any material for the Organisation in Mauritius
